Mobile phone users are calling for a change to Nokia's N-Gage gaming system which could make it more user friendly, reports the BBC.Users have been commenting on the website All About N-Gage, where there have been concerns raised that games bought on mobile phones are locked to a specific device.
However, Nokia explained: "As with any digital media there is a potential risk of piracy and this policy is one of the ways we are dealing with piracy and ensuring our partners receive their rightful revenues from our platform."
It was also pointed out that any mobile phone users who needs to have their handset repaired can be reissued an activation code from Nokia.
The mobile phone manufacturer recently announced it would be launching games from KONAMI on the N-Gage platform, with titles such as Metal Gear Solid set for release.
